About Us

Our History

Brad and Terri Lemley founded Uplifting Air in 2014 with a desire to put customers first and honor God. Brad had been taught and trained by his uncle, Alan, who later sold his own business—prompting Brad to step out on his own. The company grew steadily, and in 2018 Brad and Terri partnered with John and Julie Faulkner, allowing their family business to expand and serve even more customers.

In 2019, Brad’s good friend and fellow A/C professional, David Zimmerman, approached him about joining forces. David had successfully operated Zimmerman’s A/C for 15 years and wanted to ensure both his legacy and the stability of his employees. In June 2019, Zimmerman’s A/C and Uplifting Air merged.

Today, our team operates with nine trucks and 14 employees, ready to serve our wonderful customers with their repair, maintenance, and new system needs. God is good!

Uplifting Air is a family owned business in the Brandon and Tampa Bay area. We provide repairs, service, and maintenance on air conditioning and heat pump systems. We also provide Replacement, Zoning, and Ductless or Mini Split systems. Our business has grown through our reputation and customer referrals. We strive to be competitive in pricing without sacrificing service or craftsmanship. We like to offer our customers choices while eliminating the fear. By working with distributors, manufacturers, and training professionals we stay informed of better ways to serve our customers. We all have to invest in repairs and replacements at some point, but the true investment is the total experience we provide from start to finish.
